Our trip in Switzerland
part 8

The lake is surrounded by cliff and their echo broke quiet circumstance.
Near the lake, we ate biscuit and took a rest.
After that, we ate ham and cheese, bread and wine at a restaurant.Ham and bread were tasted good.

We were back to Kandensterg on foot, not by chair lift. On the way to the station, it began to rain. The fine weather person Toshi may be tired?

We were going down the trail seeing falls on the left side.ややお疲れ気味のとも(^_^;)
It took about one and half hours to the station.
After we bought picture post card at a gift shop in the town, we got on a train.
It takes about 50 minutes from Kandensterg to Speitz.
If we took the super express train to Montreux late evening.
We decided to a local train which would depart in 7 minutes.
We went Zweisinmmen and changed train there. This train looked old and a typical local train. On the way to Montreux, we saw a panoramic super express train and it had a land view car and a dinner car. It looked gorgeous.
We recommend you take this panoramic super express train if you have a time.

夕暮れのレマン湖〜
After long trip in a local train with slow speed, we suddenly found a large lake.
It is Lake Leman!! It looked like the sea and we could not see the other side of the lake.
After we arrived at Montreux, we took a taxi to the hotel.
The taxi driver was so kind that he explained this city and advised us the closing time of shops and how to reach Chateau de Chillon.
We checked in Helvetie Hotel. The hotel clerk looked at us and said "Are you Mr.& Mrs. KANAI?"
"Why did he know us??"(@_@)

This hotel looked old, but it was neat. When we opened the door of our room, we were surprised at the width of the room. We thought we could put another bed in the room. The bath room was also wide and we felt happy that we could take a bath. Further we could see the Lake Leman from the balcony.

Before the sun set, we wanted to walk in the city and take for a walk around the lake.
It took about 5 minutes to the lake. Owing to strong wind, the wave went up and reached to paved trail. It looked like the ocean.
Taking for the walk, we felt hungry, so we entered the restaurant Hostellerie de lac. A waiter is pleasant and funny. He was Italian? He asked us in Japanese. "Oishii? Oishii?"
We first ordered beer and then omelet, consomme soup, salad and pasta.
That taste was very nice, so we were very happy.
We recommend this restaurant to eat. Shops in Montreux close at 6:30 p.m. as the taxi driver advised us.

After we were satisfied with the dinner, we directly went back to the hotel and took a bath.
When TOMO had a bath, Toshi had already gone to bed and slept well.
