We just walked around shops. We felt hungry and then we decided to go to the restaurant which the hotel owner recommended. The restaurant waitress asked us to come back again after 7:00 PM. We intended to spend our time drinking beer at the restaurant of Hotel Derby next door. During drinking beer, we enjoyed and we didn't want to move. So we ordered the dinner course. Ham of Parma with melon, soup, bread and salad bar.
Then we had a main dish. A waiter said it was venison. It had a strange taste, so we could not eat all of it. Last menu was a dessert which was ice cream. After dinner, we went back to the hotel and washed our clothes, and then went to bed at 9:00pm.

Before the sun rises, we waked up and waited for the sun going up. Today it was fine!! We decided to go hiking. I made rice balls (onigiri) by using α-rice which we brought from Japan. Breakfast began at 7:30am and that time was just hotel owner's children leaving time for school. We were the first guest to eat breakfast. The owner's wife served us coffee. The breakfast was buffet style, so we took bread ,jam, ham,cheese,yalgurt with few topping and boiled egg which we prefer.The dinning room was quiet and good atmosphere. A croissant was good taste and toast bread was available by using a toaster.We met a couple who stayed at the same hotel Riffelberg yesterday. In fact, they also ate dinner at the same restaurant we ate yesterday. They chose this hotel with the help of magazine and internet.

We ate breakfast and took 8:33am town circle bus. We took a rope-way and a gondola and finely we used elevator. About 30 minutes we reached the Klein Matterhorn 3880 m above the sea level which is higher than Mt.Fuji.

It was very fine and we got 360° panorama. We could also see Mount Blanc, Jungfrau and we could only see triangle shape of Matterhorn , so we thought the Matterhorn has different styles depending on our position.
There was Mt. Britehorn near the viewpoint and many people were climbing it.
